Training Course “MovieDoc”

We are happy to announce that our next project ready to lunch in a few days.

Documentary  Film-making  Training Course “MovieDoc”  on Promotion of Human Rights  Education will take place in a period 26 April – 4 May , 2017, in nice place  Dilijan, Armenia

The current world is full of challenges for democracy like refugee crises, conflicts, security issues and hate speech, young people are particularly vulnerable to social exclusion, instability and aggression. Democracy is not possible without equality and having the same access to the rights, that is still the case for many young people with disability or belonging to some minority groups. In this TC studying together real-life cases and successful examples of inclusion of young people with Autism, activism, learning theoretical background of impact of video tools will become base for the knowledge vital for youth worker. On the other side participants learning in the inclusive group will develop personal competence of leaving and working in the mixed group, which will be equally beneficiary for both – people with and without special needs.From the life skills all participants and particularly participants with special needs will develop autonomy, discipline, traveling and ability to communicate as part of the learning process by using appropriate means.

Participants will learn how to develop idea (script), shoot, edit and disseminate video tools of human rights education, inclusion and tolerance.

We are happy to announce that we are approaching to the second stage of out project “Home” The project will take place in Luxembourg, from 8th of  April 2017 (Arrival)  to 15th of April 2017 (Departure).

The project “Home” promotes and supports the role of young people in activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue through a network of specifically trained young people from Hungary, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, Czech Republic and Georgia who strengthen the presence and promote the values of the European citizenship in communities facing refugee crises.

“Home” is organized by Association des Egyptiens au Luxembourg (AEL) with support from the Service National de Jeunesse the Erasmus+ National agency in Luxembourg in cooperation with the World Indpendent Youth Union (WIYU) in Armenia and Academy of Innovation (AI) in Russia.

The project has 2 activities: – Training Course “Home” and Study Visit “Home”

The first part took place in Yerevan, Armenia, from 2nd of February 2017 (Arrival) to 9th of February  2017 (Departure). Representatives from Hungary, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, Russia, Czech Republic and Georgia participated in this project

Now we are looking forward to the second stage Study Visit I Luxebourg.


  • To discover the youth work and youth NGOs’ reality in the country hosting refugees;
  • To get to know policy developed by the Government of Luxembourg related to refugees;
  • To understand the influence of armed conflict, closed borders and plus refugees crises on the daily life of young people and how that affects their behavior and mentality;
  • To create a space for dialogue among youth and youth workers from Europe and its neighbor countries for fostering transnational cooperation/trans-regional cooperation in refugees related issues;
  • To promote peace education and non-violent conflict resolution among youth in the country and in the region;
  • To highlight the role of new youth programme (Erasmus +) in the process of peace-building and intercultural learning.

Training course “Home”

On 2nd – 9th February, 2017 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, there was held a training course “Home” in the framework of Erasmus + programme of mobility of youth workers . The project has been implemented by the Association des Egyptiens au Luxembourg, AEL a.s.b.l in partnership with the Armenian Organisation “World Independent Youth Union” and Russian “Academy of Innovation”.

The event united 32 youth activists and youth workers from Ukraine, Armenia, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg and Russia.

The project is aimed at strengthening the role of young people in promotion diversity and maintaining dialogue with European communities facing the problem of refugees; developing practical competencies of participants in the promotion of human rights, fight against the language of hatred; strengthening the role of youth workers in inclusive processes.

Referring to intercultural and non-formal educational techniques such as group discussions, presentations, sharing personal experience, simulation exercises and networking, participants discussed the following topics:

– peace-building and competences of a “peace worker”;
– causes of refugee crisis, geopolitical situation in the Middle East;
– human rights: definition and implementation;
– integration of refugees and internally-displaced people in host communities;
– hate speech online and fight against it.

In addition, the coaches presented the successful cases of refugee integration in Armenia and Luxembourg. Meanwhile, guest experts shared their experience on integration and work with refugees.

Thus, the participants not only increased their competence in promotion diversity and tolerance, integration of refugees and IDPs in their countries, but also established contacts with partners for the future cooperation.

Get a taste of mobility projects

In just 3 working days, we show you the possibilities Erasmus+ Youth has to offer for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. An international project (youth exchange, voluntary service,…) might just be the life-changing opportunity for the disadvantaged young people you are working with: e.g. minorities, with special needs, with socio-economic difficulties, discriminated groups, in difficult situations, with limited opportunities…
This Mobility Taster course gives you concrete examples of what is possible, brings you in contact with other inclusion organisations, shows you what funding is available specifically for inclusion projects and walks you step-by-step through the process in case you would like to give it a try.

Who is the course for?

This course is for NEWCOMERS to Erasmus+ Youth who are directly working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. If you never organised an international youth project with your target group before and would like to know what is possible, then this course is for you!

This course is also open for applicants with special needs (contact SALTO Inclusion regarding support possibilities).


Check briefly with the Erasmus+ Youth National Agency in your country (or SALTO Eastern Europe & Caucasus) if they can send you to the Mobility Taster course in Finland 9-13 February 2016 (and reimburse your travel).
  • If so, register online HERE by 8 December 2015 midnight (create a SALTO username). We will inform you by 15 December 2015 (max 25 participants).
  • Selected participants will get travel, food & lodging in double rooms paid. You might be ask for a small contribution towards the costs (ask your NA or SALTO EECA

Ex-EVS event – ежегодная встреча бывших участников Европейской волонтерской службы из Беларуси и России, которые осуществляли свои международные волонтерские проекты в недавнем времени.


В ходе встречи участники делятся впечатлениями от своих EVS-проектов, оценивают значимость полученных в ходе волонтерской деятельности знаний и опыта. Кроме того, основными целями данной встречи являются формирование благоприятного имиджа волонтера среди молодежи и продвижение идеи волонтерской деятельности, а также распространение информации о возможностях EVS среди потенциальных волонтеров.

The long-term training course “inFormal – integration of non-formal education approach to the formal education system for youth empowerment at local level” is an attempt to use non-formal education as a tool for youth empowerment in order to address all the mentioned issues and to build a stable and productive co-working platform for educators coming from formal education and youth field(NGOs and other youth authorities).



  • To unite efforts of youth workers coming from formal and other youth field backgrounds for youth empowerment at local level by using non-formal education
  • To build a necessary set of competences for proficient use of non-formal education instruments and tools for youth empowerment at local level
  • To introduce the values, principles of non-formal educations
  • To discuss the recognition of competences gained by non-formal education
  • To provide the possibility to plan, experiment and to get feedback to the non-formal education activities
  • To discuss and introduces the ways of integration of non-formal education activities to the system of formal education
  • To provide the opportunity to assess the quality of non-formal education activities and youth empowerment process at local level
  • To build a network and to create joined actions in order to address current challenges
